Day 1
From Edinburgh we drive past Stirling Castle, the Wallace Monument and Doune Castle. In the Trossachs, time for coffee and some photos of Hamish the 'Hairy Coo'! As we push north the landscape is changing quickly, there are mountains and lochs and stories to tell about highland rouges, like Rob Roy Macgregor. Then we cross Rannoch Moor and on to Glen Coe, often considered one of the most spectacular and beautiful places in Scotland. After lunch we drive to Loch Ness, Urquhart Castle(Photo Stop) and Inverness.
Day 2
From Inverness, we head to Culloden Battle Field and Clava Cairns (4000 year old stone circle). We then drive south through Cairngorm national park stopping for lunch in Pitlochry. Optional distillery visit (£5) Short woodland walk in Perthshire big tree country.We head south to Edinburgh stopping for a photo of the Forth Rail Bridge (1890) in South Queensferry.
