Accomodation on Skye
Mostly we stay by the sea around the village of Carbost or Portree. Carbost is famous for the Talisker distillery and a great local pub, the Old Inn. This pub is a great meeting place and a chance to get the feel of island life each evening. We are always on the lookout for live music and events of interest locally and will keep you informed.

We cross the river forth, with views of Forth Rail Bridge(1890), heading to the 9th Century village of Dunkeld. Time for coffee and a riverside walk. We drive to Scotland’s highest mountain Ben Nevis, then on to Eilean Donan Castle, the most iconic castle in the highlands. Then over the sea to Skye!

In the afternoon we tour to the rugged northern peninsular past the Storr to the dramatic ruins of Duntulm Castle or explore the fabled fairy glen. Time to enjoy the scenery and take plenty of pictures and, of course, see magnificent Cuillin Mountains
