A winter's day touring Skye. If you only have one day on Skye this is the tour to choose. Skye Bus tours are packed with stories and legends that bring history to life. The days are short but there is still no need to rush, we take our time, with plenty of stops and walks all day long.

We have been guiding tours on Skye for 14 years.
Skye Bus is a new 16 seat minicoach with warm air heating throughout the vechicle.
Lunch Break: We break at lunchtime and there will always be a cafe or shops for you to buy lunch. Please bring cash, as most places do not accept cards.
Walks: There is some trail walking on this tour. You can sit out some of the walks or not walk so far. Please bring suitable footwear for rough and sometimes muddy ground.
Winter Weather: You must bring suitable clothing - Skye can be cold, windy and wet.

Fairy Glen: Magical landscape, fairy stories and exporation.
Kilt Rock: Wonderfull balsalt cliffs... that really do look like an highland kilt.
Quiraing: Drive over the pass that defines northern Skye or (depending on road conditions) view from beneath if road is unpassable we will explore far north of Skye.
Old Man of Storr: The rocky pinnacle on Trotternish Ridge.
Lealt Waterfall: Walk to view point on east side of Trotternish.
Cuillin Mountains: Photostop to see (hopefully) the most dramatic mountains in Highland Scotland.
We get back to Portree early evening. This is usually around 16.00. Please check with us if you have onward travel plans directly after tour.
