Hidden Skye

Hidden Skye, Plockton and Eilean Donan Castle

Over the sea from Skye to Glenelg
We drive to Kyle Rhea with magnificent photo stops along the way to the shortest and most remarkable ferry crossing in Scotland. Wonderfull wildlife and a remarkable sense of adventure await. You feel that you are travelling back in time boarding the community owned and operated Glenelg ferry. Once on the mainland we visit the Brochs at Glenelg. These stone towers are two of the 4 best preserved Brochs in Scotland.

Coastal Walk and and Otter Hide
Scenic coastal wildlife walk high above the sea. The path is fairly level and ends at wildlife hide. There is plenty of information about Skye's wildlife.

Ratagan Pass
Next we venture across the mountain pass with stunning views of the 5 sisters of Kintail.

Eilean Donan Castle
Perhaps the most iconic castle in Scotland. Photos and time to visit (£7)

Plockton
Time to explore the most beautiful village on Scotlands west coast.

Skye Bridge
Cross the Skye Bridge back to Skye and return drive to Portree.
