SkyeBus winter

A wonderful winter's day touring Skye.

SkyeBus winter tours are packed with stories and legends that will bring Skye's history to life. The days are short but there is still no need to rush, we take our time, with plenty of stops and walks all day long. We break at lunchtime and there will always be a cafe or shops for you to buy lunch.

Our winter tours are our most flexible, extra stops may be added if weather and time permit. The weather can change in an instant, please bring appropriate clothing. A waterproof jacket and trousers are essential. Warm clothes and footwear that are suitable for walking on rough wet or icy ground are also required.

Please also be prepared for winter tours being cancelled at short notice if the roads are unsafe. We will of course refund you in full in these circumstances.

Trip Advisor Review, Kathleen H
The Perfect Day... Just the right balance of beautiful hikes and time in van listening to Bill's amazing story telling and great tunes. Traveling solo for 3 weeks in Scotland this day was the icing on the cake for me. I loved the relaxed friendly atmosphere Bill fostered in our day spent together with a group of fellow travelers. My favorite memory. Do not miss it if you are spending any time on the Isle of Skye.
